Tune In To Great Experiences

Quiet Mind

One thing I’ve noticed about energy is that like energy attracts like energy.
We’ve all heard the saying “misery likes company” meaning that in general folks like to talk to each other about their problems as a way of venting or just having someone to talk with.

The issue comes when we discuss too often the same problems or talk to everyone about our issues. The emotions connected to the challenge are felt again and again and are sent out into the quantum field. As one tuning fork activates another tuning fork the negative energy attracts more like energy. Which may keep you in a cycle of negative circumstances.

Here are some ways of attracting better experiences by not remaining in a negative mind set:

1.   Get it off your chest by talking with someone you trust (therapist or good friend).

2.   Focus on what you prefer to feel instead (meditation and affirmations).

3.   When you catch yourself starting to repeat the negative circumstances again in your head, turn on your favorite music, uplifting television show or listen to positive books on audio (perfect for when driving in your car.)

I know the bigger the challenge the tougher to not think about the negatives especially at night. What’s helped me is listening to relaxing music to fall asleep to, reading my favorite articles and blogs (Heal Your Life from Hay House) or watching comedies. iTunes also has free podcasts that you can download with guided meditations, relief from stress, quieting the mind and many more.

These can help you to literally tune in to wanted emotions and tune out the unwanted.

I hope these tips will help you activate more positive emotions and attract even greater experiences.

All the best,
Dan

Welcoming A New Year

title

Usually around the beginning of the new year, I like to do a burning bowl ceremony. It’s a good way to release negative or limiting beliefs.

Basically we take a piece of paper and write on it all that we wish to release. One example may be “I no longer hold resentment towards someone that hurt me” or “I no longer believe that prosperity or abundance is only possible for others”. You can write everything you wish to release on one piece of paper and on another write all you wish to receive. So we are replacing the things that no longer serve us with thoughts or affirmations we want to bring in and experience.

What is really powerful is the symbolic use of fire. After we have written down on paper our limiting beliefs we take a fireproof bowl or container and light the paper on fire. This symbolically burns away and releases all that you wish to let go of. You may call on God/ the universe or your angels to help you with this.
The piece of paper with affirmations you can keep and pull out for next time or in a few months to track your progress. Some find it helpful to have it mailed to them some time later by giving the letter to a friend.

My personal experience with this cathartic ceremony helps me to feel that I’ve released my worries and thoughts to the universe and have really replaced them with more positive beliefs. It asks for guidance in a big way and helps me to feel more at peace. This ceremony can be done as often as you’d like.

Let me know what your experiences are like or if you have any variations in your burning bowl ceremony.
